Thirteen years ago, we transformed the former Lloyds Bank into our cosy café. After some thought, we chose the name The Borough, a nod to the ancient road that runs through the very centre of the village and has long formed its heart.

We love welcoming our regular locals, as well as holiday-makers, cyclists, and walkers passing through.

As an independent, family-run business, we’re proud to employ local people. All our hot food is freshly prepared to order - no fast food here, just made as quickly as we can!
